The Climate scientist have been warning us from decades about serious consequences of climate change due to pollution and other factors in recent future, say may be, in next 10-15 years, that not only climate is changing but it can lead to catastrophic events like natural calamities tsunami , earthquakes, flooding. People might think these things are part of life and they keep coming and humans tackle them , some live some die, and time passes and people forget; so these things should not be given importance ,priority and people should focus on living their life to the fullest and don’t think about what’s going to happen after 10 ys 20yrs etc. Quoting a retired ecologist Guy McPherson who says there will not be any human left on this earth in next 10 years , “We don’t have 10 years. The problem is when I give a number like that, people think it’s going to be business as usual until nine years and 364 days.”  But this time it is not the case and climate scientist are very very very damm serious about the issue because this time the question is not of tackling the climate change natural disasters but it is question of  extinction of entire human race.

According to the scientist climate change is fast approaching, even fast than the scientist thought and calculated. Further millions of people will face very heavy rainfalls, food insecurity , heat waves as a consequence of climate change.   This is happening due to rise in global temperatures. A recent report of IPCC says that rise in global warming will soon be reaching its threshold of 1.5 degrees which can be disastrous in next 15-20 years which also includes economic disruption since these catastrophic events don’t come alone, they have disruptive economic consequences since it takes more than decades to come out of these economic disruptions.,

So its time for us greedy and selfish humans to  awaken and take significant steps to change our future  is possible and if not possible at least help environment and climate change activist and organisations who are taking steps to reduce pollutions and emission levels and even if that is not possible for us, then at least try to spread awareness about climate change and help scientist in whatever ways they suggest us to do.
